The Opportunity: We are seeking a friendly and mindful Host to join our team. In this role, you will warmly welcome guests, ensure seamless seating arrangements, and support the restaurant’s operations by managing takeout orders, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering outstanding service. This position is ideal for someone with a positive, outgoing personality who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys creating connections with people.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Experience:

Greet guests warmly and ensure they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive.

Provide menus and share information about current promotions with enthusiasm.

Handle guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, ensuring their needs are met.

Operational Support:

Manage the flow of guests into the dining and bar areas, communicating accurate wait times when needed.

Organize and maintain takeout orders to ensure they are accurate and timely.

Cleanliness and Organization:

Maintain the cleanliness of restrooms to ensure a comfortable and safe experience for guests.

Assist in keeping the restaurant organized and running smoothly, supporting team members as needed.

Communication:

Answer phones with kindness and professionalism, providing assistance to guest inquiries.

Take to-go orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring clarity and attention to detail.

Collaboration:

Remain calm and composed under pressure, fostering a positive and supportive team dynamic.

Proactively contribute to the success of the team and the restaurant’s operations.

Schedule Requirements:

Must be available to work Mondays and Tuesdays from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Saturdays from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Additional hours may be available when the current host is on vacation or during peak times.

What You Bring:

A warm, outgoing personality with the ability to connect authentically with guests.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills to maintain smooth operations.

Professional and kind phone etiquette and communication skills.

The ability to stay calm and thoughtful in high-pressure situations.

A collaborative and proactive approach to teamwork and guest service.

Previous hosting or customer service experience is a plus but not required.

Physical ability to carry trays or supplies (10-30 lbs.).
